About the event
The MGWA will be hosting our first educational field day at Brickhaven Vineyard on June 9th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. This will be the first in a series of informative in person sessions focused on best practices for working with Minnesota grapes from vine to bottle. This year we are going to focus on the vineyard, with the first session looking at the timely topic of vineyard management practices that will promote favorable harvest conditions.
As grape growers and winemakers, we know what an ideal harvest looks like and we are familiar with what tools we have to help us get there, but with so many variables in the vineyard it can be difficult to be precise with those tools.
